Montes Landscaping has done business in the Lake Chelan valley for the past several decades and recently we hired the company to do the landscaping at our new home in Chelan.
Constantino Montes, owner of Montes Landscaping, came to our home and sat down with us to get an idea of how we’d like our yard to appear, and if there were any particular features we wanted incorporated in the project. Being of retirement age, we didn’t want a yard that required a lot of work, for example: minimal lawn, an underground sprinkler system, rock features and low-maintenance shrubs and trees.
Keeping this “wish” list in mind, he returned a few days later with an estimate for the labor, materials and equipment. He worked with us on a final price and within a few days his crew was busy converting our front yard, utilizing rock features, into an attractive entry to our home. On the back side of the house, the kitchen window looks over a small expanse of lawn and two raised garden beds, ideal for us.
