My experience:
I hired Terra Verde landscaping to install irrigation and sod. They installed the wrong sprinklers. They never laid the correct amount of topsoil to level the ground, and they didn't remove the rocks that were in the the yard. They placed the sod on uneven ground over rocks. There were rocks sticking out of the sod. We couldn't use the yard since there were so many uneven trip hazard in the yard. And there were rocks that were under the sod which was very dangerous. The yard was unusable. Terre Verde landscaping secretary said they will fix it next week. 2 weeks went by without any corrections being made. 5 weeks after the job the owner Rene arranged a time to meet. He said that they never placed the sod over rocks, and the sod was never placed on even ground. He said the yard was in the condition it was because it was are fault. He said his workers would never place sod over rocks. He took no responsibility for any of the defects. His workers did make some corrections about six weeks later. The ground is still extremely uneven. There are trip hazards everywhere. The grass is growing over rocks. I had several bids from other landscaping companies. They said it will cost more than I paid Terra Verde to fix the sod and irrigation problem. All the other landscaping companies said the grass needs to be replaced, the ground needs to be leveled with fill dirt, rocks need to be removed, and irrigation was installed wrong. It's an absolute nightmare. Rene the Owner acted insulted and try to make me feel stupid about the complaint.

I also had them build a fence. The fence is straight and nice looking. The major problem is the post were not concrete well enough. I had to install about 10 more fence post to make the fence sturdy.

It will cost us about$5,000- $6,000 to correct the nightmare of problems from this company. The major problem I have the secretary said they would fix it right or way and they didn't. The owner Rene Mechaca didn't take responsibility for it. He blamed most of the problems on us. He is a great sales guy that screwed us. but it's a huge financial blow for us.
