I used Elite for their Living Social deal and was totally ripped-off. The aeration was substandard, and there was hardly ANY seed or fertilizer, as promised in the deal. Jimmy promised to come back but has since not and disappeared. He will not return calls or emails. Crook.

The appointment for service was scheduled for a Tuesday. Tuesday came and they were a no show. I followed up with the contact, Jimmy Hunt who said his aerators broke and he'd have to come back the following Tuesday 10/2. Tuesday 10/2 came and no service done (2nd no show). Jimmy did email me the next day, Wednesday 10/3 at 19:35 simply saying he had more problems and would have to reschedule for a 3rd time for Friday 10/5. That day comes and he emails me asking for my address again as he left his paper at home. I reply back with my address. They were a no show again on Friday 10/5 (3rd no show). I emailed Jimmy and he simply replied saying "Can I reschedule you for Monday of Wednesday?" I explained I have a 1 week newborn and have been preparing my lawn each time he says he's coming by raking, mowing, de-thatching, etc and don't have time to keep messing with his unreliability. He replies saying he's sorry and would be here Monday 10/8. On Monday 10/8 at 13:59 he emails me saying "Looks like it's going to be tomorrow" with no explanation of why he is a no show for the 4th time. Finally on Tuesday 10/9 (15 days, 4 no shows and 5 reschedules later) My lawn was poorly aerated, barely seeded and I'd be surprised if they fertilized. There were large 6 ft wide strips in my lawn that were not aerated and in the bare spots even you have to get on your hands and knees to find seed. I ended up seeding more myself. All this being said, I have been horribly disgusted by this company’s lack of responsibility, reliability and professionalism.
